KEEP has developed educational programs for students from kindergarten to grade four.  If you wish a copy of these ready-to-print materials to use during a field trip, just email paulinepawson@esdnl.ca  or visit our facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/groups/KEEP1999/ The field trip materials can be used by students as they study the flora and fauna of the Kelligrews area rivers, ponds, ocean and beaches.  Materials will be developed for use from the kindergarten to high school levels, and the activities will be matched with the Science learning outcomes set out by the Atlantic Provinces Education Foundation.

Of course, our programs are also quite useful to Brownies, Cubs,  Guides, Scouts  and other community groups that seek to foster ecological appreciation and understanding.

KEEP welcomes input from individuals who can volunteer their time and experience to help us implement these worthwhile plans.  Click 'Contact Us' at the left.

An exciting feature of our proposed walking trail is an outdoor classroom, which combined with the teaching resource packages that members of KEEP have developed for Grades 1 to 4,  helps young people to interpret and learn about the area.
