Coastal Zone Canada 2010: Call for papers, registration now open

Coastal Zone Canada 2010 (CZC 2010) is being held in Charlottetown, P.E.I. from July 23-29, 2010 on the important subject of integrated coastal and ocean management. All marine & coastal researchers, policymakers, watershed and environmental organizations concerned about water and the marine environment, and community development groups are invited to register or submit papers. Take it Without a Grain of Salt

A Working Group to focus community attention on the high rate of salt consumption and its potentially negative health impacts is being established by the Community Services Council Newfoundland and Labrador (CSC). CSC wants to take an open, whole-community approach, which will include families, governments, the food industry, health care professionals, academics, educators and community organizations.
